“STABICOAT Vitamin D3
Stabilized” is stabilized form of Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol).
Vitamin D3 is extremely unstable and deteriorates readily when
exposed to light and air. Therefore, storage and handling of Vitamin D3
is extremely difficult. Its exposure to other ingredients and atmosphere
during formulation process deteriorates it and potency of Vitamin D3
goes down abysmally low even after adding almost double the required
quantity.
Moreover, Vitamin D3 is required in very small amount, which leads to problem of homogeneity or even distribution of Vitamin D3 in the whole mass. Our “STABICOAT Vitamin D3 Stabilized” is used for achieving even dispersion and stability of Cholecalciferol during handling and in formulations; resulting in reduced overages and yet ensuring label claimed potency up to the shelf life. |
